Overview
Professor John Gough, former Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology,
is leading the language design and implementation group that has
investigated and designed a framework for researching compiler technology,
in particular, code generation. More recently, work has targeted the
implementation of alternative languages on the Java Virtual Machine and
Microsoft's .NET platform.
